How long does it really take to score 100,000 points?
In online games there is always someone who cheats. One made-up score is enough to spoil the fun for everyone. That's why in iLuckyStones we decided a record must be possible before it can be high.
The reasoning is simple
Every item is worth an exact number of points: a yellow drop 25, a cube 50 to 100, a green spike 100. Items appear at a certain pace. So in one minute of real play you can only make so many points, and no more.
Doing the maths on the game's rules, even catching every single item that appears it takes at least 34 minutes of play to reach 100,000 points. A 100,000 score after ten minutes isn't a champion: it's a trick.
How we check it, without knowing who you are
When you start a game, it receives a code with our server's time. During the game it sends a small signal every 30 seconds. At the end we compare points made, time actually played and level reached. If the numbers don't add up, the game doesn't count as a verified score.
We don't need your name, your email or a cookie. We count games, not people.
What about Arcade?
From «Help & Arcade» you can start from any level to practise. They are real games, but they don't count as verified scores: it would be like starting a marathon at kilometre thirty.
